Capt. Rich was very pleased to report that he had a great day of fluke fishing today aboard the Gail Frances. It was as though they were fishing in a different ocean today! Fishing was done very close to home and the light crowd of anglers aboard had an excellent amount of keepers including a few angler limits(longtime regular James for example) and those who were dangerously close and just about everyone had at least a few keepers to take home. Two big fish today with the pool being taken by a fine 8 lb slab. A very healthy dose of shorts, a few sea robins, some hard fighting sea bass to play catch and release with combined with pleasant temperatures and light winds made this a memorable early season day of fluke fishing! First mate Chris was so busy assisting customers with short fish and the net for keepers that no pictures were taken today. Tomorrow looks good for fishing and Capt. Rich will set sail at 7 am aboard the Gail Frances.
