This morning’s half day trip started out a bit slow, but the action picked up about half way through the trip. A fair amount of keeper fluke and seabass around the boat. Pictures courtesy of Christine Blount. More of the same this afternoon. Trips tomorrow leave at 8 am and again at 1pm.
First mate Chris L reported the full day Fluke and sea bass boat had an okay day compared to some of the trips of late. Very little drift. Some nice quality stuff but just not in the numbers we have become accustomed to over the past two weeks. A good amount of nice size sea bass and a few nice scup in the mix as well. Biggest fluke around 6 lbs and a fair number of fish in the 4-5 lb range. Tomorrow sounds wet but the wind doesn’t sound bad at all, pack your rain gear and come on down to the office to buy a ticket if interested in going tomorrow morning as the Gail Frances will set sail at 7 am with Capt. Rich at the helm.
