Capt. George reported the full day charter for the Douglas Plumbing group from CT was good with a nice mess of good size sea bass, a handful of scup, and a handful of nice size fluke. We would like to thank Douglas Plumbing for their continued patronage over the years.
The report from the Gail Frances is that the last trip of the 2016 fluke season was solid with some nice fluke to six pounds and longtime regular customer Rick from Belchertown MA taking the pool with a fine six pounder (one of three nice fluke he had to compliment his easy limit of good size sea bass). Biggest sea bass was reported to give the fluke a run at the prize money so safe to say well over 5lbs. A lot of big sea bass today and some slammer size scup as well. One cod fish for good measure! Not a bad way to end another good fluke season! Capt. Rich and all the Frances Fleet Employees would like to thank the fishers who joined us this year on the full day fluke boat and look forward to another great season in 2017!
The report from the Tuna trip which returned this afternoon was of okay fishing. Some nice albacore and a couple of mahi. One space available for sale on the tuna trip leaving tomorrow morning at 7 am. If anyone is interested in booking it please call the office by 8 pm.
