Captain Mike reported another very good day on the tog grounds. The cold weather we have been having has dropped the water temperatures in the bay and have pushed some fish on to the rockplies. A many limit catches around the boat and others within 1-2 It was the best day so far this year. Still quite a few shorts to keep the action going all day. The blackfish boat will set sail tomorrow morning at 6am on the Lady Frances
Captain Rich reported a good day for the sea bass on the cod grounds. The cod must have been taking their babies out trick or treating. There was one fat slob that tipped the scales at just under 31 pounds. Full boat limit of sea bass to 5 pounds. Some scup in the mix but most were on the smaller side. Wednesday weather looks great and we are full stocked on fresh shell bait.
