Today’s slammer blue fish and yesterday’s big fluke caught by longtime fisher and excellent rod handler John Toppa from RI
Capt. Keith reported the morning half day was okay. Sea bass and a handful of fluke pleased patrons and the fishing was a little better than expected due to the poor drift conditions. The afternoon trip was punctuated once again by stellar summer weather and some sea bass and fluke made their way aboard the Admiral Frances. Two half days on tap for tomorrow, both on the Admiral Frances. The first leaving at 8 am and the second at 1 pm.
Last night bass fishing was very slow. We try again tonight, plenty of room. The Lady Frances will set sail at 7 pm with Capt. Matt.
Capt. Rich reported better fishing today. A slow steady pick with good size fluke and big sea bass. It was a case of the haves and have nots as is often the case on a day when buck tails reign supreme. There were several limit catches. A couple of 8 lbrs and some other fluke over 4 lbs. Most interesting catch for the day was a behemoth blue fish estimated to be at least 15 lbs!! Capt. Rich will set sail tomorrow morning at 7 am aboard the Gail Frances.
