First mate Chris L reported a solid day of fluke and sea bass fishing today aboard the Gail Frances. There were two limit catches of fluke today. A decent number of other fishers also had a few nice fluke each to take home. Sea Bass were nice sized and a decent number of fishers were limited out on them as well. Just one mackerel today and a few handfuls of keeper scup. Pool winning fish today was a fluke just shy of 7 lbs and a few other fish in the 4 lb range were noted. Capt. Rich will set sail tomorrow morning at 7 am aboard the Gail Frances.
This morning’s half day trip was slow. The afternoon half day was reported to be better with a bunch of nice sea bass and one nice keeper fluke. Two half days on tap for tomorrow with the first at 8 am and the second at 1 pm, both aboard the Admiral Frances.
