Captain Greg reported a good pick all day on the fluke boat. We started close to home and in the rain but the fish didnt care. We worked on sea bass until we were just a few fish shy of a limit. We then ventured off to the island and tried to find a fluke bite. It wasnt hot and heavy but 3-4 fish a drift adds up in the end. High hook had 5 keepers with the biggest being 8 pounds. Back at it tomorrow with plenty of room and then sold out all weekend.
Captain Keith reported a very solid morning trip on the local rockpiles. Many anglers left with limit cacthes of bomber sea bass to 5 pounds. Lots and lots of shorts in the mix today with some anglers catching upwards of 25 fish. The afternoon was on the slower side with zero drift to speak of. We did what we could and picked a few sea bass here and there. Sailing tomorrow.
