Captain Greg and Captain Matt were very happy to get on the tuna grounds. We sailed bright and early this morning loaded with bait and ice with high hopes. They will be back Monday will a full report.
Captain Rich reported an Ok day on the grounds. Some anglers faired much better then other on all species. We worked the grounds and had a mixed bag of fluke, scup, sea bass. Biggest fluke was around5 pounds and same with the sea bass. Those who wanted to fill there coolers with scup could have had all they wanted. Sailing tomorrow at 7am
Captain George and Captain Frank reported much different days on the half day grounds. The morning saw light winds and good chip of fish all morning long. Scup and sea bass were coming over the rails of all sizes. The afternoon saw much slower action when the wind and waves picked up. Some nice sea bass to 4pounds rounded out the catches for the afternoon. Both trips tomorrow are sold out.
