This morning’s half day was reported to have started very strong but once the tide let go the fishing slowed up. Still a lot of nice size sea bass were taken by fishers. A few fluke mixed in too. Two half days on tap tomorrow with the first set to sail at 8 am and the second at 1 pm aboard the Lady Frances.
Capt. George reported the full day charter for Chris Secard and the Technic Corp found a nice bunch of sea bass, a few handfuls of keeper fluke and two decent size scup. We thank Chris and his group for their loyalty over the years. Call the office in regards to private charter availability.
Capt. Rich reported a near full boat limit of nice size sea bass today. A pick of fluke with a couple of angler limits and a few others who were very close. Biggest fish of the day was well over 8 lbs with runner up also a touch over 8 lbs. Quality fluke have not been scarce this year, we just wish the overall numbers were a little better. Weather was great and the weather looks inspiring for tomorrow. Capt. Rich will set sail on the Gail Frances at 7 am.
Last night’s bass trip was slower. Biggest fish was around 30 lbs. One blue fish. Tonight’s trip is sold out. Plenty of openings Wednesday through Saturday Night of this coming week.
No pm half day this afternoon.
