Captain Mike reported a decent morning on the half day boat. We had a good amount of tide to keep the boat moving. It was a good showing of quality sized black sea bass. High hooks caught there limits. A half dozen or so fluke also made it in to the coolers. The afternoon did have more wind which made the drift just a tad for quick for all the sea bass . We will have both trips tomorrow at 8am and 1pm
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WEEK THERE WILL NOT BE A 1-5 HALF DAY ON WEDNESDAY,FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.
Captain Matt reported a much improved Monday Marathon trip. We went a different direction this week and it really made the difference. It was not lock and load fishing but it was a chip all day. By days even we put a pretty respectable catch of fluke and sea bass. High hook left with both sea bass and fluke limits. Bucktails and gulps were the go to combo today. Many fish in the 5-8 pound range with 3 fish battling out for pool honors. Pool fish was around 9.5 pounds. we still have plenty of room on all upcoming marathons. These trips are 5am to 5pm for 130 and 20$ for the pool. They are limited to 35 people so there is plenty of elbow room.
