Capt. Rich reported the fluke fishing busted open today and that the fish were big!! There was at least one limit catch today and many of the anglers aboard went home with several big fluke apiece today, many of which were jumbos or fish over 4lbs. Joe Stoothoof from Dover,NJ had a day to remember with several keepers including a brace of fluke that went just under 11lbs( 30 inches) and just over 8lbs. Pics of these fine slabs will be featured a bit later on www.noreast.com under our fishing reports thread. Both bucktails and bait rigs were working. Anglers also caught and released some big sea bass to 4lbs and threwback some smaller fluke as well. Capt. Rich looks forward to another good day of fluking tomorrow with the Gail Frances set to sail at 7am. So to recap we had excellent fishing on the beach this morning on the half day charter and excellent fishing further east on the full day trip. Things are finally starting to come together, Fluke fishing through the month of June sails 7am to 4pm daily.
