Captain Rich reported a much improved day on the fluke grounds. We had a great group of angler who really were dialed in to the fluke. Bucktails and bait rigs both did the job. Biggest fish on the day was around 6 pounds with a few very right at that mark. Sailing every day by reservations at 7am.

Captain rich reported a good day on the full day grounds. We had a great drift for the light crowd. High hooks had limit catches and most anglers were only a fish or 2 off. Nicer quality in the mix as well with some nice fish over 5 pounds and the biggest being in the mid 7s. Sailing tomorrow morning by reservation.

Captain Greg reported another decent day on the full day grounds. The morning with the slower drift the gulp and bucktails were the way to go. In the afternoon the wind picked up and the long bait rigs worked well with the 1.5kt drift. High hooks boxed 3 keeper each. Sailing every day and the weather looks great for the next week.
Still some spots left on the upcoming squid trips.

We have been busy fishing around the clock and filling coolers. Fluke fishing has been solid for early season. High hooks have been just shy of a limit most days. Long bait rigs as well as bucktails have been working. The shorts action have been a little up and down but anglers catching 10 is not that uncommon.
Squid fishing has been rock solid all weekend long. High hook have been 2-3 buckets with many anglers have at least a bucket. Some people do not fair as well and just cant get in the squid zone. Pink and glow have been the solid colors all year. Sailing this week and filling up very fast

We had our first squid trip of the season and it started off solid. We had a good pick going as soon as we started fishing. We had a pick all night long with some good flurrys throughout the night. High hooks had close to a bucket with others only a few pieces. We do these trips Wed, Fri, Saturday nights at 7pm by reservation

Captain Greg reported a better day on the fluke grounds. We had a decent turn out of the action on the first trip. We had very different drift conditions through out the day. Any where from a screaming 2.4 to a not moving .0. Hook hook boxed 3 keepers with the pool fish going around 6 pounds. Trying to sail both days this weekend. Always make reservations online.

Captain Greg was happy to finally be back on the fluke grounds. We kicked off the season in the rain but we sailed with a nice group of anglers who were not shy of the rain. It wasnt a red hot start but it showed great signs of the season to come. We picked a handful of keepers and a decent pile of shorts. Most anglers managed to hook 8-10 shorts. No trip tomorrow but back at it Thursday with the great forecast.
