Capt. Rich reported the good fishing and warm pleasant weather brought out fluke ethusiasts from all over the northeast today and for the most part there were few dissapointments. Over 150 quality keeper fluke hit the decks of the Gail Frances today with the biggest a fine 11lb slab and the next biggest 9lbs but neither were in the pool so the bragging rights and bulging wallet honors went to an angler with an 8lb flattie yesterday. There were a handful of limit catches and a respectable number of anglers who were very close to a limit catch. All in all a good number of fish over 5lbs but there were more normal size keepers in the mix yesterday. Not quite as many sea bass as some of the previous trips yesterday but still a solid sampling of the tasty grouper relatives. The Gail Frances is out again today so look for a full report later this evening.
