The LADY FRANCES is planning on sailing tomorrow morning at 3 am. They are calling light winds for Monday. We are not expecting a big crowd tomorrow so there will be plenty of room at the rail and in the heated cabin. Make sure to call the office today to make a reservation. We are looking forward to getting back out on the water after a couple of days off.
FEBRUARY 18th
Captain Mike reported that things were greatly improved today. They had action most of the day. Unfortunately it wasn’t the whole boat. The anglers on the port side were treated to some great fishing and for some reason the starboard side just wasn’t producing. Not only were the keepers biting but the shorts were non stop with the most that we have seen this season. It is too bad the weather is not going to cooperate this weekend. There will be no trips tomorrow. Sunday is a long shot so we will have to wait and see if the wind is going to die down. Make sure to call the office before heading down to the docks

Sunday Feb 13th cod fish report
Capt. Mike reported they wound up in decent shape today. After going back to their old stomping grounds and being disapointed with the lack luster results Mike went on a search and destroy mission and while they did not exactly destroy the anglers aboard made a day of it with nice healthy green winter cod fish. The numbers varied from angler to angler with a few guys getting their limits and a few anglers stopping at the fish market on the way home and scores all in between. Nothing big today but all nice market fish. Just an occasional pout or red hake in the mix otherwise its been all cod fish. No sail tomorrow due to the windy weather forecasted. Call the office tomorrow in regards to Tuesday’s outing.
The LADY FRANCES sailed this morning with what turned out to be a light crowd for a weekend. Captain Mike called in around 9 am and said the had a good pick of fish for the first few hours. The bite stopped altogether around 9 am so he was heading off to find another hungry school of fish. We will try an update with a full report this evening. We will be sailing tomorrow morning at 3 am. Not a lot of resevervations for tomorrow so come on down and enjoy the day.
