VERY GOOD SQUIDDING LAST NIGHT ON THE LADY FRANCES WITH CAPT. RAY!!
Capt. Ray was in a good mood giving a very good squid fishing report for last night this morning. He reported while it started slow the action picked up considerably the last half of the night and anglers wound up doing very well with two anglers in the bow each filling up a big pail full of the tasty mollusks. Not as many huge ones but mostly the prime eating size in the eight to eleven inch range. Plenty of room on the squid trips for the rest of the week so call the office to make a reservation and get in on this great fishing that anyone can enjoy!
GOOD FLUKING YESTERDAY WEDNESDAY JUNE 8TH AT THE FRANCES FLEET!
Capt. Rich reported a very nice day of fluking with great weather and very good fishing. There was one limit catch and several other anglers had three or more keepers apiece. Nice stuff with the pool fish checking in again at 7lbs. Capt. Rich will be out again today on the Lady Frances so look for a fresh report later today! Plenty of room on the upcoming squid trips so give us a call to make a reservation if interested. Last night’s report will be posted as soon as the details become available.
FISHING REPORT FOR TUESDAY JUNE 7TH 2010
Capt. Rich reported fluking was respectable but not quite as hot today as the past two drifts due mostly to a very slow drift. Pool fish still checked in at o ver 7lbs for the day however and Capt. Rich is out there again today so look for a fresh writeup a bit later on. Plenty of room on all the squid trips this week so call the office to make a reservation, remember fishing was tremendous on Sunday Night our last night on the squid grounds.
EXCELLENT FLUKING AGAIN MONDAY JUNE 6TH 2011 AT THE FRANCES FLEET!
Capt. Rich reported another great day of local fluking with a great pile of keepers up to 9lbs amassed by the hanful of anglers aboard today plus some catch and release action on those out of season sea bass. A number of anglers were limited out or close to it and that my friends is some great fishing! The full day fluke boat sails again today at 7am. Plenty of room on the squid trips this week and the fishing remains very good so dont delay and call today, to make a reservation!
Monday June 6th
Capt. Ray called in this morning to report that squid fishing last night was a huge success. After a bit of a slower Friday and Saturday night, Sunday night by 9:00 p.m. busted wide open. Plenty of squid to go around, 1/2 buckets to over a 5 gallon bucket each for the small bunch of anglers on board. Squid is one of those fisheries that just when you think things might be slowing up, they turn right back on again. We will continue to go as long as they are around. The schedule is Wed. – Sunday nights, 7:00 p.m.
AWESOME FLUKING TODAY, SUNDAY JUNE 5TH 2011 ON THE LADY FRANCES!!
Capt. Rich and first mate Capt. Matt reported today was easily the best day of the season so far with regards to the local fluke action. All good size fish and lots of them today with some anglers aboard easily scoring their seven fish limits! Pool winning fish checked in at a fine 9lbs. A few blue fish thrown in for good measure today as well. Capt. Rich reported all terminal gear was effective today and the fish were most certainly on the feed. The Frances Fleet looks forward to another good day of fluking tomorrow with the Lady Frances set to sail at 7am.
DECENT SQUID FISHING LAST NIGHT SATURDAY JUNE 4TH ON THE LADY FRANCES
Capt. Ray reported the squid fishing started off on the slow side last night but ended on a high note. Hi hooks filled half of a five gallon bucket and while the overall numbers were down this will still go in the log books as a respectable outing in a year that has been fantastic. Looks like nice weather again tonight and Capt. Ray looks forward to another nice night of squidding setting sail at 7pm on the Lady Frances.
FLUKE FISHING REPORTS FOR TODAY SATURDAY JUNE 4TH 2011
Capt. Rich reported a solid day of fluke fishing for his customers today with a respectable pull of keepers with the pool fish tipping the scales down to the 8lb mark and hi hook going home with four keepers. Anglers also got to return some fine out of season sea bass for a little bit of variety. Capt. Rich looks forward to another beautiful day on the water tomorrow with the Lady
Frances set to sail at 7am for full day Fluke.
Capt. Mike reported his full day charter was productive today. Again skinny water was the charm for the action with a nice mix of keepers and shorts today. Nothing huge but some real quality beach fish with a five pounder the tops for the day. While not non stop the action was consistant and all hands aboard enjoyed a beautiful day on the water.
GOOD SQUID FISHING LAST NIGHT FRIDAY JUNE 3RD ABOARD THE LADY FRANCES!
Capt. Ray reported a good night of squid fishing overall. The hard tide made them a bit tricky to catch at certain times through the night but a few anglers filled up to one full five gallon pail with the tasty mollusks while others had considerably less. That’s fishing sometimes! Mixed sizes but still mostly large and jumbo tubes and the squid still show no signs of spawining just yet. Some catch and release with all the usual out of season suspects as well. Tonight looks great weather wise and still plenty of room so if interested in going squid fishing tonight with Capt. Ray at 7pm please call the office to make a reservation.
